It can be calm and life giving, or dangerous and destructive. This energy is called "Tangaroa", God of the Sea. Message from the carver - "This piece was my attempt at illustrating Tangaroa from the stories I've heard. I have put a lot of ocean themes into this piece, such as a seahorse, whale tail, and paua.
